A masterpiece of genre film-making, really worth to watch.. The film conceals as much as it reveals, and its beauty is that it pretends to do nothing else. It embraces a mystery and protects it, and it’s thrilling to behold.. A dear film, sentimental and fond, full of beautifully acted British resolve.. . The role of Mrs. Henderson may not have been written with Judi Dench in mind, but it's hard to imagine who else might slip into the part so effectively.. The best movie I've ever seen. amazing...
